October 20, 2008 - Met our baby girl for the first time!
October 17, 2008 - Left for Vietnam!
October 7, 2008 - Got Travel Dates...We're Leaving on Oct. 18th!!!
October 3, 2008 - Received Our Visas
October 2, 2008 - Received USCIS Approval to Travel!!!!!
September 25, 2008 - Applied for Visas
September 24, 2008 - Received email confirmation from USCIS that our I-600 has been filed and they are working on our case.
September 23, 2008 - Vietnam released our paperwork to USCIS in Hanoi
July 11, 2008 - Confirmation from USCIS that our new I-171H is being worked on
July 10, 2008 - Sent off Updated Paperwork to be Authenticated
July 9, 2008 - Had Medicals and Addendum County & State Certified
July 9, 2008 - Got Updated Medicals
July 7, 2008 - Received our Homestudy Addendum in the Mail
July 2, 2008 - Got Vaccines for Travel
June 26, 2008 - Sent off I-600 to be Filed
June 16, 2008 - 4 Updated Pictures of Alexa!
June 10, 2008 - Fire Inspection for Homestudy Update
June 5, 2008 - Homestudy Visit for Update
May 11, 2008 - My first Mother's Day:)
May 9, 2008 - Sent in Referral Acceptance
May 6, 2008 - We got our Referral!!!
April 15, 2008 - Moved up to #4...only 3 families ahead of us!
April 8, 2008 - Sent Application to Ohio Homestudy Agency
April 2, 2008 - Fingerprinted for Ohio Background Checks
April 1, 2008 - Sent off for Child Abuse Checks in Ohio
March 17, 2008 - Moved up to #7!
February 18, 2008 - Officially on the list...#14!
February 8, 2008 - Dossier State Certified...sent to Consulate of Vietnam to be Authenticated
February 7, 2008 - Received I-171H Approval!!!
February 4, 2008 - Scott County documents County Certified
January 28, 2008 - Started compiling Dossier documents; picked up homestudy from CAII
January 28, 2008 - Education completed, mailed certificates to agency
January 25, 2008 - Received Dossier guidelines
January 14, 2008 - Homestudy sent to USCIS
January 11, 2008 - Started Adoption Education Classes
January 11, 2008 - Changed back to original agency and Home Study is approved!
December 29, 2007 - Received Home Study draft
December 17, 2007 - Changed agency to one in our "new state" and sent in new application
December 14, 2007 - Second Home Study interview (individual)
December 10, 2007 - Had first Home Study interview in home
December 5, 2007 - Filed I-600A form and got fingerprinted
December 1, 2007 -Turned in applications and started gathering Home Study documents
November 30, 2007 - Got application to agency and homestudy agency
November 29, 2007 - Made our final decision to adopt
